Description
"More than half a century has passed since the Scopes trial created deep divisions between the religious and scientific communities. In the intervening years, the two camps have found areas of compatibility: the big bang discovery, for example, was not thouroughly inconsistent with the biblical story of creation. Recently, however, the rift between empiricists and theologians seems to once again be widening. This program will explore the conflict between the scientific community and the culture of belief". --- Container.
