Summary

Summary

Some of the earliest jazz many people remember hearing is the music Vince Guaraldi wrote and performed for Charles Shultz’s animated PEANUTS cartoons on television. Master of smooth jazz and mellow fusion keyboardist David Benoit gives us a tribute to both Guaraldi and Shultz with JAZZ FOR PEANUTS. Benoit invited some special guests to contribute--Dave Brubeck, Taylor Eigsti, and Christian Scott among them--for a program of bright, buoyant, cheerful jazz with some straight-to-the-heart (or to the kid in us all) soloing.
