Horn Book Review

These small, square bilingual books feature large-size type on the left-hand pages and an inviting full-bleed photo on the right. Both texts are unimaginative, but the Spanish is overly literary--surprising given the simplicity of the English text. Beginning readers will gain some basic information. There are three other fall 2004 books in this series. Reading list. Glos., ind. [Review covers these Animals That Live on the Farm / Animales que viven en la granja titles: Cows / Las vacas, Goats / Las cabras, and Horses / Los caballos.] (c) Copyright 2010.
