His mission is put on hold when he finds himself the guardian of a beguiling six-year-old girl named Decky, a homeless urchin consigned to his care after the death of her mother. How can this gun-slinging outlaw tend to a helpless little girl when all of his wits are needed to guard against a trio of sadistic killers hot on his trail...killers sent by the doublecrossing ex-partner Lomax has sworn to find?
