Adult Literacy

The Prescott Valley Public Library Adult Literacy Group

  • is an all-volunteer organization.
  • provides trained tutors to teach reading, writing, and English to adults in western Yavapai County.
  • is affiliated with ProLiteracy Worldwide.
  • provides free services to adults over the age of 18 and out of school.

The Prescott Valley Adult Literacy Group usually meets every two months at the Prescott Valley Public Library Crystal Room, 3rd Floor, 7401 E. Civic Circle, Prescott Valley AZ 86314.

HOW YOU CAN HELP THE ADULT LITERACY PROGRAM

Spread the Word

If you know someone who needs help with reading and/or writing, suggest that they call Prescott Valley Adult Literacy Group.

Join the Adult Literacy Group
We need volunteers to staff the office, make telephone calls, do computer work, help with publicity, public speaking and fundraising.

Make a Donation
The average cost to bring a student to a 5th grade reading level is $300. Help support a student by making a donation. Click here for more information. 


Become a Tutor
Tutors work one-on-one with students. Training workshops are held on an as needed basis. Please contact Kathy Lewis, Director, at 928-759-3049.
